BA letter confirming delay for Insurance

I have filled out the online form asking BA to confirm by letter, the cause and length of a delay. This is required for our insurance.
I did find a very old thread from another site, saying that after filling in the online form, BA eventually follow up with an email asking for you to ask for it in writing.
Has anyone been through this lately?
How long can I expect to wait for a letter?

Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!

Not the same thing but I needed a cancellation invoice from BA last year. The website says it will arrive within 28 days, but almost immediately I got an email saying it will take longer. Which it did, much longer.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
