Well give the new cars to the poor and the rich can have them when they have finished with them.

the poor dont have the capacity to build the machines that build the machines else they would not be poor

thankfully, the people that can and do build the machine that builds the machines are generally good people and they share their technology with the whole world which is why you can sit on a computer with a belly full of food in a warm house rather than toiling in a field to try and feed your starving kids

if people are not smart enough to make a decent living for themselves, they DESERVE to be poor. simple as that.

it does not really work like that

a society looks after the people it can with the means it has

when productivity is so low that you can barely feed yourself and your kids people are very harsh on those poorer than themselves. You will see that in 3rd world countries the poor are very !!!! towards the very poor

As a society develops it can produce more goods and services and it shares this among more people. As production of goods and services improves even more you can get societies that help and support people who wont work a day in their lives

its not really a moral question, its more of a simple production question. when we become rich with the ability to produce lots of goods and services we become more 'moral' and willing and able to help the poor

i agree and i may have sounded harsh but what i was tryign ot get at is those who have worked hard and/or are smart should be wealthier then those who are not. it really baffles me why people say rich are robbing the poor when it is the rich who provide the jobs.

I dont think the rich provide the jobs they tend to be the people who allocate resources (one of which is human labor) to meet demands which looks like they 'create jobs'

That is to say if all the rich people have a heart attack tomorrow the jobs dont disappear just a new set of people emerge to allocate resources to meet demands and they become 'the rich people'

of course those allocating resources to meet demands will always be better off than those who are the resources meeting the demands. There is no way around this nor should there be as they take more of the responsibility.

The true heros are those who manage to improve productivity be it via better machines and technology or good laws and regulations and governments that promote better productivity. often the two groups are linked as its very difficult to improve productivity as just a worker but if you are in the 'allocator of resources' group (aka 'the rich') you have the opportunity to be one of the productivity improvers
  • I think it's splendid that loonies like our new troll rock up here. Corbyn is a gift that keeps on giving - the tone from the Labour Party is so bitter, envious and nasty that it will be providing Conservative party election poster copy for decades to come. The mask has truly slipped.

These desperate attempts to keep the bubble from poping are getting laughable.

First high end property started to fall, now the falls are spreading to average properties nationwide.

As the banking crisis deepens credit will dry up, just as interest rates have to start correcting back to normal, how low will property go?
How low? It depends how big the bubble is made, this will depend on how big the burst

Because, generally, it looks hypocritical to call other people morons when you can't manage capitalisation, punctuation, or modesty.

The next dip could be the big one. Only stupid people try to say there will never be a dip in property ever again.
Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future
