If you look at the time the average person spends on their phone or social media compared to the time they look for the best financial deals then I think it's completely pointless.
You may be right, but I was more thinking of my point of having the rate at the top of your statement like eg the Halifax has, but many others don't, particularly for accounts no longer open. If you saw 0.1% there every time you logged in, it may make you more aware than finding out months later when you remembered to look up some pdf hidden away on another part of the site. Mind you I may be cutting my own throat here because if many more moved into the better paying accounts the rates will go down for everyone. Ok... keep searching0
