Transfer from Gmail to Gmail

My child has two Gmail accounts; one belongs to the school and will be deactivated soon. She wants to transfer her school photos which are on the Google Drive to her personal Google Drive. How can this be done?

Download the files from the old account to a computer. Upload them to the new account.
That is one way.

Isn't there a share option on Google Driev so the account you want to get ride of can share the images with the one you wish to keep?

If you're viewing them through your browser select all the photos, right click, share, enter the new gmail address and send.

Then with the photos still selected right click again, and in the dropdown that says 'can view' or 'can edit' there should be an option to set the new gmail account as owner.

Once you've done that, log out of the old account and into the new, the photos should be showing up. Select them all and right click, share, click the x next to the old account to stop sharing them.

The sharing option should work, however, these may be lost once the other account is deleted. I suggest the downloading them all to a computer and then reuploading to the drive from here.
