    i'll have to have a think, probably sohuld have said that for all it's a CD player i use, i just use a usb stick in it, so yeah just basically using it like a very large MP3 player when I'm camping. Interesting points about some of the batteries, I'll do more reading and watching :)

    The best batteries you can buy are rechargeable Eneloop. These are available in a range of sizes and powers.

    But if all you're running are low power devices and you're not much for environmental concerns. Then 99p stores sell philips batteries for a dozen or 2 Duracell.

    I've been using Duracell Industrial nee ProCell for as long as I can remember - cheap off eBay and perform well.

    I have been using 7dayshop batteries lately and they seem quite good - I shoudl also say that I have no idea. How long batteries last .... Not very good at keeping track
