Switch Back?

I switched from Santander to Halifax to take advantage of the £125 and £5 a month payments. After 9 months, can I switch back to Santander 123? Is there any condition to say that you can't switch back to them within a certain period of time?

I'm not aware of any such T&C, but why would you want to switch back to Santander?

If you really want the Santander account, why not just apply for it, and keep the Halifax account for the £5 each month:cool:

Part of the switching guidelines suggest that, if you change your mind once the switch has started, you should let the switch complete and then switch back to the old bank.
  • Thank you both. Badger09, I wanted to switch back to take advantage of the cashback on dd's and 3% interest instead of getting just £5 from Halifax; but don't want the hassle of opening a new account and moving some of said dd's myself and fulfilling the pay in requirement on two accounts each month. Switching just seems easier? I'm lazy. ;)

Your choice, but laziness will cost you at least £5 pm:p
