I'm very greatfull for my new pip award from standard to higher rate, should I assume they should of back dated it from the time my circumstances changed and when I went for a reassessment some 8 weeks ago or am I just being greedy?

Not 100% sure but would think it would apply from the date the DECISION was made0

When I asked for a reassessment in November 2015 and after an appeal in May this year whereby my award was increased from Standard care and mobility to Enhanced care and mobility my award was backdated to November when I notified them of the change.
I had my back pay from November so no you are not being greedy. Your award should run from the date you notified them of a change of circumstances.0
