Not much difference infact, thanks. The only thing that puts me off the black one is that it has 2 owners in 34000 miles.Probably means nothing but i am always question why so many owners in a short time.
And these dealers that have the cars are hundreds of miles away from me.0 -
CarGiant stuff is usually from Fleets and Lease Companies.
It could be something as simple as the car was registered to one Company in a group and then used by another Company in a group and reregistered.
Or it could be a Motabilty Car and CG have Reregistered it to themselves to change the taxation class, as otherwise it is a pain to sell.
As they couldn't sell it to somebody not entitled to use Disabled Tax.
As far as the I40 goes I would think it will be reliable but they don't seem to sell in huge numbers in London, I always thought they were a bit expensive considering Ford and Vauxhall will give a decent discount when selling their cars new but Hyundai tend to be a bit shy when it comes to discounts.
They are pretty rare as PH vehicles in the South East, that may just be because of the cost factor instead of anything to do with reliability.
I must admit I would be tempted to stick with a Mondeo
Not sure about anybody else but your link doesn't work for me, what price was the i40 you have looked at?0 -
Will see if i can find something closer to home,The i40 fits everything i need it for.0

There were some cheaper ones but much higher mileage, and i wouldnt pay an extra £1k or £2k because its only got 5k on the clock.
I would wonder why its only got 5k on the clock.
2 owners on a fairly new car maybe a pre-reg and a first owner.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

What i was told, was it was owned by an older gentleman who bought it because he took up golf.Did not last long at it and it had just been parked up and he did not use it much.So he traded it in for a smaller car.How true that is i don't know.0 -
There are a couple of Hyundai forums out there that discuss niggles and practical things. Worth dipping into.
All I can say about Hyundais is eye-watering spares prices.
So ensure it's got a looong Hyundai warranty left on it.
I had 3 fairly trivial things fixed on a Hyundai and reckon the work would've been about £4k inc labour and parts at a Hyundai dealer.
Warranty work seemed good to me but you have to be firm with the dealer.0
