RBS Silver Account

Hi everyone,
About 18 years ago when I was 17 and started working I opened an account with RBS. At the time I don't remember being given any option of other accounts in the branch and they definitely recommended a Silver account. At the time being so young I had no use for any of the benefits given at that time. Not a home owner, no car, no mobile phone worth insuring, wasn't going on holiday. I've never claimed on any of the insurance policies to date (I always bought travel insurance when I went on holiday.) Is it worth me filling in a form and trying to reclaim or am I too late? Thanks!!!

It was 18 years ago. So, you would not expect to have a decent recollection of what happened back then.Is it worth me filling in a form and trying to reclaim or am I too late?
You are entitled to make your complaint if you feel there are grounds for complaint.
Most packaged bank account complaints are not upheld as we are now at the point where many of the banks can timebar people. However, there are still a significant number of people receiving redress. So, its not quite too late yet.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Just an update on this one. Sent away my complaint using Resolver a few weeks back. They agreed with me and put £1300 compensation and £600 interest into my bank at the end of last week.0
