IVA Last Payment

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask so sorry if not.

But i made my last IVA payment last month but just received a letter in the post that one on my creditors (RBS)has sold my account to Asset Link Capital and it just started me worrying as to why sell the account after just making my last payment

  • Your creditors wont have received all their payments yet. Usually from my knowledge anyway the payments are a month behind. You need to send that letter to your IP so they can inform them you are in an iva and have made all payments.

I am in my final year of my IVA and one of my debts was sold on and I got telephone calls and letters until my IP got in contact with the company to inform them I was in an IVA.

Sometimes collection companies buy lots of debts from other companies and are not always informed or know that your in an IVA. Sort this ASAP to stop them getting in touch with you.
