Using wireless to view tv and sky tv

I want to move my existing sky and to points so I can relocate to to another part of the room. I have an aversion to cables being visible and the place I want the to in will necessitate cables goi g round a door. I don't really want them to run under the carpet as that will mean getting a carpet fitter in too.
Someone suggested a wireless connection instead to do away with the cables completely.
Has anyone had any experience of these? Would you recommend them?
Thanks

Whatever you do, don't even think of using those £30-ish "video senders" that use their own wireless channel. The ones I bought suffered interference, intermittent (loud) clicks, overpowered the local wifi signal (preventing other wireless devices from working), and occasionally crashed the router completely.
A long while back I had one of the original Slingboxes, which do what you want, except the software needs to run on a PC or mobile device, and they aren't wireless. But they work well. The newer M1 model does have wireless, so if you can install the Slingbox app on your TV (if it's a smart one), that should do what you want... Sort of.
