Tax Credit Help

Hi,

just need some advice please.

I am on WFTC and work 24 hours a week on low income. I took a 3 months break of unpaid leave and returned to the same work place. I was still receiving working tax credit. My yearly work income falls below £6000 after this 3 months break.

Would I need to give all of the tax years working tax credit back or just that period?

Thank you

You would be entitled for a further 4 weeks from when you went on unpaid leave. You'd need to repay the rest until you returned to work.

That's assuming you don't have a working partner.

I have to pay back 2 months working tax credit?
    Have I understood this correctly?

Most likely just over 2 months yes.
