length of service

I have recently had my last consultion meeting with my employer and although my original end date was 20/08/16 this has been extended until 15/09/16. ( a Thursday)
my original start date with the comapny was 17/09/12

can I ask what would be the date of my four years service be 16/09/16.... when i have completed four years service or 17/09/16 which is the first day of my fith years service

other people have also been extended ..but until the next week...

I just want to check out dates before tackiling HR...

Tackling HR about what? Your contact is due to terminate on 15th, which is before either date. But the answer is the 16th. If you worked that day you would have another years service. Which is obviously why your contract terminates on 15th!

spoke to HR, about fact that I was only person not extended until months end,

finish date changed to 19/09

so extra week and a half of redundancy, if you dont ask you dont get
