I parked my car at empark ltd stansted meet and greet . I returned to find they had hit my brand new car into a post the side was dented and the manager st the time was very sorry telling me to get quotes but said to open the case I must contact head office by email. I did so and two weeks after much chasing they sent a one liner email " we do not accept liability review our terms and conditions for why".
This has done £2,000 of damage I am devastated. I emailed them back and called but it's been three weeks and I'm hearing nothing . I'm also copying in any ceo I can find . I rang up and the only time They answered they asked if its to do with a complaint and put me on hold then hung up and I never got through again.
I have tried everything email phone letter recorded delivery. I'm now faced with a very expensive bill for what I was promised they would accept on site due to the fact they caused the damage !

Lesson to those who read this in future, don't trust anyone else driving your car? don't give it to the meet and greet companies, plenty of bad reviews for them and BBC watch dog did a number on them too.
OP did you take a photo at the time and get a statement from the manager at the time? They could have very selective memories.
What did the T+C say when you booked the parking? You might need to involve the small claims court"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

The manager at the time took photos and sent them off along with the before pictures to prove the damage was in their care - he said he can't put anything in writing as head office. The terms and conditions at no point say they are able to near write off your car - that can't be allowed. i am devastated. I have before and after photos as well but everyone is ignoring me I'm not getting anywhere at all. I don't know if there is a regulatory body I can complain too .0

I would get your insurance company to deal with it. Most policies also have legal protection to help you chase the company too. You should be telling your insurer about the damage so why not get them to have he hassle of chasing the car park company?MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000

Hi - well you are not alone in this as I have a similar issue. Parked car - no marks, got is back with scratches on the rear bumper etc. The guy said all would be OK just get in touch etc etc. Got my first email today saying - not their fault and not accepting any responsibility. Long story short - I did some reading on this site and have already written to Stansted Airports Limited as it seems in the end they may be finally responsible. I'm in for the long haul and I will keep going to get some compensation for their actions. First thing to remember is that the first thing they will do is refuse to help you...they know some people will accept that and so they want to see if you are one of those people. Don't accept it and escalate the issue to STAL instead. Good luck. I'm only now starting the process....0

I came home after a two week holiday and found that they had parked the car and left the drivers window wide open for two weeks, the carpets, and drivers seat were soaking wet and the rain had gone down the inside of the window and got into the electrics so i could then do nothing with the window, leaving me with a 100 mile drive home with wet seats and a wide open window. They did give me some plastic bags to sit on !!!!! I have had to replace the winder mechanism at a cost of £357, I eventually had a phone call from them with a promise to call me back - but since then absolutely nothing.0

I believe most if not all car parks are covered under similar a practice whereby they state any car is left at the owners risk and this means that to resolve to an issue you have to deal with your insurance about it.0
