    I would take to the house you know his family lives. Leave the items with them. I wouldn't try to contact him again. Ever. Don't let him have the upper hand. Take control - legally.

    Yeah, not entirely serious, and I assume OP will have an idea if the guy is sensitive to anything. That said, it would be somewhat tempting to leave some booby traps for such cold, cold treatment of her.
