travel insurance

Hi,

can anyone recommend a travel insurance site please?

I'm going to USA to visit relative for approx. 1 month. I'll be going with my 6 year old son, just 2 of us.

There several recommendations on this site but would like to hear if there are other sites.

Thanks in advance.

San

What sort of insurance do you want: cheapest possible; a company with a reputation for good service; cover for things like cash and mobile phones... Do you require cover for any pre-existing medical conditions?

What is wrong with the main articles on MSE about recommended travel insurance?
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

nothing wrong with the one on MSE, just wondering if there are others.

I'm looking for a cheap (reasonable) price. mainly for delay, lost baggage cover, in case of medical emergency etc.

    Thanks.

Different people get different deals from different insurers. Some won't insure me but will my wife, some won't insure the wife but will me, some won't insure either of us & some (thankfully) will insure both of us, at wildly varying costs.
We've used Columbus Direct for many years & thanks to last year's health problems we know they pay out (eventually).
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
