travelsupermarket charge companies to be listed on their comparison site.....but aren't to bothered that LCH and Hoteling.com were among companies listed up to last friday
I hope after this fiasco they check which companies have correct insurance in place

I don't necessarily disagree with you but it is a commercial site which makes money ( A lot it seems) and there is a warning that they haven't checked the financial status of any business they are promoting. It might be helpful if in future they explain how financial protection works, or indeed doesn't. At present it looks as though the banks are really going to get hit, lets assume each claim is £1000 and there are may be 50,000 claims to the banks, that is £50 million which will be passed on in higher charges in the future....0
