Avast Remote Assistance - suggestions for alternative

In the latest version of Avast the ability to remote assist has been discontinued.
I used this on an occasional basis to help relatives when something (basic!) had gone wrong with their computers.
Can the Forum suggest an alternative source which I could use? There seems to be several web based platforms out there but am unsure which would suit my needs best.

Edit/update: downloaded teamviewer onto my computer and on to elderly Aunts computer - all working fine.
