I am trying to access my WhatsApp, but its telling me 'this version of WhatsApp has expired.
when I select update its asking me to enter password for apple id,
however, I must have forgotten it , because I have tried about 6 passwords but none of them are correct.
is there anyway I can reset password without losing all my WhatsApp content?
any advice/help appreciated.

This is your Itunes password, if you go into settings, then Itunes and App Store, click on your Apple ID and choose iforgot, you can then reset your password.
You will not lose any data in whatsapp unless you delete the app from your phone:beer:0 -
Your whatsapp shouldnt be affected by your Apple ID.
When you setup Whatsapp it will ask for your number,then text you a confirmation code.
After that the Whatsapp data should update.0
