we've booked a holiday through lowcost holidays , which we all know has gone bust . called the apartments on Saturday to see if our reservation existed and if so has it been paid for . unfortunately the owner didnt understand . the email address they have just keeps sending back my emails . we just want to know if it has been paid for and if not how much will we need to pay upon arrival ( hopefully nothing ) . the foakes family are very worried .any help would be gratefully received , thanks

Chances are it will not have been paid for, take a credit card with you just in case. I take it you have travel insurance? You'll need to contact them if you need to get your money back.0

I'd be amazed if a property owner who works with incoming tourism in Majorca didn't speak English - I think you're being fobbed off.0 -

That's all well and good but I suspect the OP doesn't want to turn up and find the accommodation has been cancelled and re-sold with little or no alternatives available.
The OP needs to keep trying to communicate with the hotel in the hope of getting confirmation one way or another (which is what they're trying to do)Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0
