in Credit cards
we have a credit card debt abroad, interest is killing us, not allowed balance transfer to a cheaper card as we now live in the uk, what can we do to clear, don't have money to pay it off.

If you do not have the money to service the debt and you cannot transfer the balance then I guess you are out of options.
You do not specify what country the debt is held in but, either way, much of the expertise in respect of the posters on here will be UK-based. If you were between a rock and a hard place here then you may have no option but to default on the card, negotiate a repayment plan and hope that the card issuer will freeze interest as part of the arrangement.
Where you go from here will depend of what options are open to you in the country in which the card was issued.0 -
