No bills to pay, use credit card or not?

Hello,
I'm living in UK for 1 year and something, the only bill which I have is my rent.
I got a credit card already and wanna know what is the best option to increase the credit score, use it or just let it be till really need?
I have been told if I got the credit card it could be better to do not use it if I don't need it, but when I applied to the credit card I was thinking in use as "debit card" and make the payments on time and so on (I don't need the money of the credit card, I have enough money management with my wages).
Kindest regards:beer:

Use it and pay in full each month.0

Pay for a single week of shopping each month, then clear the amount in full. This will demonstrate responsible use and build up a credit history. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
