If you saw this sign at a theme, how old do you think you need to be to ride the ride.

5 or over?
4 years old is under 5. 5 years old is not under 5.
If they don't want 5 year olds to ride, they should say "5 or under" or even "those under 6".:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

As it clearly sates guests under five must not use this equipment, then anyone over five should be accepted.
I guess this is not what happen? I would be miffed in your situation too.
The only exception would be if there is separate minimum height restrictions on the ride, therefore over five years old and meets the min height.0 -
But the penultimate line on that sign trumps everything:All instructions by Apple Jacks team members must be followed0

not really as there still needs to be rules the Apple Jacks team members adhere to.
What if an apple jacks employee asked someone to rob a bank, would that person have to follow that instruction?0 -
From the day you turn 5.

There is also a weight limit of 14 stone which could overturn the 5 and under rule:D0

A minimum or five years of age, however I would also expect staff to limit this to children that are over five and a certain height.0

It was very ambiguous - not allowed on ride as he is 5. One sign saying under 5 and you are not allowed. Another sign say 6 and then there is a speaker system with a robot calling the rules of operation out and this stated only 6 and above allowed on ride.
No consistency !!!0 -
Some days my 5 year old is 4 (entry to soft play goes up at 5).
Some days my 5 year old is 6 (as in the example here).
Most days, she's just plain old 5.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
