New boyfriend - holiday with ex?

Would like you opinions on this (not me btw!)
So.......is the gf doing the dirty or is the norm to go on holidays with ex's? (no kids in this scenario btw).
Been with the new gf about 6 to 7 weeks now. Next week she goes on holiday for a week with a male friend shes known about 5 years. It was booked before we even knew one another, can’t help but wonder when she’s there.
A few days later I bumped into her in Birmingham shopping holding hands with the said ex, although I didn't know it was an ex she had told me it was just a friend. She seemed proper ****** off I approached her and said what’s going on....
He looked proper puzzled then she said I will call you later, so I looked at the guy and said just in case your wondering who I am, i'm the guy she’s been sleeping with the last 6 or 7 weeks, then I said enjoy your day and walked off
And now, for the last 3 days the woman I was dating has been on holiday with her ex, she has been bombarding me with messages saying she wishes it was me that was there and wants to see me the day she gets back etc
She isn’t shagging him, they were together 3 years ago for 3 years and had a house together and remained friends. Back in feb they both wanted a holiday but no one to go with so booked this one together, I didn't meet her until may
They haven’t gone away as partners she’s fed up of him and wants to tell him they can’t be friends anymore but wants to get the holiday out the way and she has painters at the moment anyway so have no concerns about him dipping the wick.

Obviously still seeing one another/sleeping together/taking you for a mug.
Don't need to be a genius to see that.You didn't, did you? :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Holding hands.....still together imo.0

I would suspect is that she's in a relationship with holiday guy and having an affair with your friend and wishes to continue to have both men in her life.
To facilitate this she appears to be telling your friend a story that would stretch most people's credulity beyond it's capacity.
Going away with an ex you remain friendly with is not impossible, but I can't think of a single reasonable explanation for them to be holding hands in Birmingham. Or indeed anywhere else.
I expect she told holiday guy (who probably thinks of himself as 'boyfriend') that your friend was someone she used to know, who still really likes her, and won't take no for an answer; and was lying about the last 6 weeks because he was jealous and wanted to cause trouble.
That's my best guess. Any advance....?

The quoted post is very inauthentic btw.
It tries way too hard to sound crude and uneducated. More subtlety needed.

This story has done the rounds beforeThe best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

it's from another site i visit and the guy is adamant the girl in question is faithful to him.
I hope she is, but i don't think so as there has been lies from the beginning - i posted here for a different perspective. Thanks.0 -

It doesn't ring true to me. Not the content so much, as people have all sorts of situations going on and perspectives on them.
It's the way it's written, as though the poster is trying to write in the style of a certain stereotype. The expressions used in the last paragraph, plus the sentiment expressed there, just don't ring true.
Who thinks and speaks this way? A bored sixth former, done with exams and taking inspiration from the Jeremy Kyle show to provoke (oh, so hilarious!) reactions?
