Cleaning steel v non-steel baths

I'm intending to purchase a bath.
I was wondering are non-steel baths (acrylic and other plastic-type baths) more difficult to clean or keep clean that a steel bath?
Thanks.

They're easy with a little Mr Muscle. Just don't start using 'Vim' or similar, as you will scratch plastic more easily.0

I had a cheap acrylic bath and changed it for a Carron - a lot more expensive, but it's much easier to clean, and looks better. The colour is better as well, even though the old and new are both white.
So, if you're going for acrylic, get a good one if you can.0 -
You need to spend a lot more on an acrylic bath to get the benefits of a cheap steel one.0
