    You can`t really put Brexit aside though, any more than you can China slowdown or unrest in strategic regions, it will all have a bearing on credit markets at some future point, Brexit just speeds up the demise of the EZ IMO, and again IMO, that demise is the point at which central banks lose control of interest rates.

    I just meant that I was putting Brexit aside and giving advice on future proofing...something I have experience of. I have no idea how Brexit will affect houseprices so wouldn't attempt to comment on it, but I'm sure the OP will take everything into consideration!

    They are all experts, have a look at the HPC website especially Venger and the Count (Crashy?). They talk like they are professors of macroeconomics yet have been consistently wrong for years but as you say we should all bow down to their wise words of wisdom.
