Hi
Does anyone know where I could get M2.5 (self-tapping, preferably) screws? I've tried looking on Homebase's site and B&Q's site, but to no avail.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

I'm actually trying to avoid having to go on eBay. Is M2.5 not a size common enough to be available at DIY stores?0 -

Website isn't working properly though, and won't let me search. They had ever screw going even 1 for my fellas motorbike when he sent me on a wild goose chase for an hour trying to find one!
they have a few depots over the northwest0 -
Do you mean M2.5 - designation usually given to bolts. Or do you mean No.2 Self tappers? - designation usually given to screws? (Although they're 2.2 thread dia, rather than 2.5.)
Many fixings and fastenings shops/suppliers will do you pozi-drive No.2 self tappers. Maybe change your search terms and try Googling again?Mortgage - £[STRIKE]68,000 may 2014[/STRIKE] 45,680.0 -
I agree with Elfbert - M2.5 is a machine screw, not self-tapping. It's meant to go into a nut or threaded insert. I've always bought small screws like that from Maplin Electronics.
Small self-tapping screws should be widely available from DIY stores. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

wow, that's some link.
To shorten a link, copy link,
in message type word you want to use, screw,
highlight screw,
then click wee globe/link icon above message box,
and paste,
and that gives you, screw.
If you want to jazz up a link, you can add some colour, make it bold, try this link,
