Hi
I am thinking about taking my parents for Afternoon Tea in London and wanted to get some advise of a good place to go. I have done some research and a good places to go are Sketch, The Dorchester and Browns.
I am not going to go to the Ritz or Claridges as the waiting times are months in advance.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It's been a couple of years since we went, but my partner and I took advantage of the 2-4-1 trains offer to go to the 'Chocoholics' afternoon tea at the Podium in the Park Lane Hilton and thoroughly enjoyed it

What about the South Bank?
At the National Theatre or Festival Hall, both probably better VFM than some of the more traditional choices.0 -
One of the nicest I've been on was the afternoon tea river cruise on the Thames. Fantastic service, a full choice of teas, and gorgeous views down the Thames and back on a beautiful glass sided boat. Bataeux London I believe although I've probably misspelt it.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

The Berkley is nice. We have also done the Orangery in Kensington Gardens. Also, friends have done Chockywoccydoodah in Carnaby St.0

Gave my parents the Tea bus Afternoon tea which they enjoyed.0 -
We always go to the Mandeville Hotel, it's by Oxford Street but is never busy (at least for all our visits) so it's the perfect place to escape to. We bought an Afternoon Tea for two friends as a birthday treat and they loved it.0

Hi All
Thanks for all the great suggestions, we decided to go for Afternoon Tea at the Savoy in the end, it was really nice and I would definitely recommend it.0
