It is usually in the title deeds - so look there first.

Not always. My deeds demarcate the parking area but not which bay is who's.

Not been a problem but there is an element of risk for future arguements.

any idea how much it costs to get the info from ros?

I've emailed solicitor btw, no reply, they don't return calls!
they did say they would send a copy of the deeds when I was in to sign the loan offer (on completion day!) but no idea if that will happen or when

    Prices here:

    https://www.ros.gov.uk/services/fees/information-services-fees

£20 + VAT if you order it direct from the Registers, £3 + VAT for your solicitor to get it online (both assuming that it's a Land Register title rather than Sasines - probably will be), free if you just ask the sellers for a copy.
