Looking to rent a Minecraft server for my 11 year old son and his friends. Any recommendations, experiences? Thanks!

Is your connection fast enough to host one?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Not keen on hosting our own, or else every time the connection is slow I'll be blaming Minecraft!0

From what I can gather, minecraft servers don't need much bandwidth, the netcode is quite simple, it just relays what each users position (grid location) is.
I found a post where someone had an 11mb connection and ran a server for 24 people no problems. The problem with most servers though, is processing power+RAM.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
