Good evening all,

I am posting this in the hope some one could give me some advice.

Last year i changed jobs and was struggling with paying back my credit card (i did pay, i did not miss aything just made things tight), i asked for some help from Santander for a few months and they froze the interest and offered me the opportunity to pay 20, i paid 40 and they were very helpful. Their warning if i remenber was that if i missed a payment, it could be recorded on my file so i continued to pay. I did not miss a payment nor owed money. On my credit file, this all shows as green. In the September of that year, i started receiving my statements and contnued to make payments. In January, i settled the card. On my credit report, it shows an arrangement to pay. The arrangement to pay starts from September so it has confused me a little.On speaking to them, this is because they froze the interest.

Brief description::

1) asked for help in March.
2) March to August shows as green and payments made on credit file
3) September, statements start again, continue to make payments as detailed on statement plus extra.
4) Credit file shows Arrangement to pay from September till January when I settled

I understand that my intial help from them could of been marked on my credit file, but this is not the case, it is from September so i am a little confused. I have been given the complaint address and am going to write to them as I feel that the help i was given has now affected my for the next 6 years. It seems I should of not asked for help and just got by and this would not be the case.

Any advice on this matter would be appreciated, its a rather anxious time as i am now having to move out and this just tops it up!!!
