it's an awful lot of weight for a little engine to shift around. :rotfl: 0 -

My old ZZR1100 returns about 35mpg with "spirited" riding, with a passenger, and a fair bit slower, easily 50mpg+, if I were to follow OP on his scooter, I'd bet mine would be approaching 100mpg, but would die of boredom before I found out.
Thirstiest bike I've ever owned was an old Kawasaki 500cc triple 2 stroke - mid teens mpg and a new centre piston & rings about every 500 miles.0 -
My first bike was a Honda C70, 4-stroke and auto clutch but 3 proper gears. Best mpg was 130+, on a long trip from Leeds to N Wales. The tank was 0.9 gallons, which seemed to last for ever. Worst was a 350 YPVS, which gave 30 mpg on a good day, but I did ride it as intended.
Best commuter, on balance, was my last bike, an ancient Yam XT600E, which was bullet proof, weatherproof, rode on any surface, and gave me 60 mpg while beating all the other traffic. Pocket-money commuting. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -

So which 2 stroke did you have that required premix?0 -

I use it to go to work so travel about 50 miles a day on it and fill up every 3 days or so which costs roughy £8-£10 a week.
Any one use there motorbike for work, how is your filling up compared to mine I think mine does just over 100mpg
If you do 50 miles a day how come it has only done under 1000 miles ?0 -

motorcycles , like cars car both vary in CC and age and fuel tank capacity, so its like asking car owners "how nuch do you get to the gallon , how often do you fill up.
1: stonking old v8 range rover might get 12 to the gallon , a new "xx" diesel may get 90 to the gallon
2: you will go to the garage more often , if you have a small tank , or do more milage per daySave a Rachael
