What are the forum rules/etiquette for posting details of a friends whistle-blowing ?

Hi all,

My friend is a whistle-blower (FCA/FOS) for several years. The bank are aware of his whistle-blowing as he has sent them details of it. He wants me to provide copies of his ems in my MSE postings that he has sent to FOS/FCA and provide Barclays names of people that are aware. For info, the Barclays CEO and a HR director aware.

Am I okay providing names and the ems with regards his whistle-blowing ? For info, I worked in Barclays PPI for a few months as agency staff.

Why can't they post the details on MSE themselves. Why involve you at all? Is this yet another one of your nonsense threads? !!!!!! is ems...other than an anagram of MSE?

I have a friend who is trying to claim this as mis-sold PPI and until last week, he was not having much luck as the bank were just rejecting his claims. He has now been told that the bank will reopen his case to see if was mis-sold (namely pressurised advised sale).

I have asked him to keep me updated as I was a member of staff and took out a staff mortgage in the 1980s.

By the way, I used to be a PPI complaint handler at Barclays and was a whistle blower with the FCA and FOS for a while. I found the area totally incompetent and dysfunctional.

By the way, I have told him to escalate to the FCA if Barclays do not uphold his complaint.
