New Fiesta Steering rack
I have a brand new 1.6 STYLE Fiesta Petrol 5 door.
It has been making noises on steering since I got it.
I took it to my local dealer, who said there was nothing worng and it would settle down.
I did not feel comfortable with this and took it to another dealer. They sayit needs a full new steering rack and is unsafe to drive. They will repiar it under warranty.
Does anybody have any advice about this. Should I accept the repair, contact Ford Direct etc.. It seems a very odd thing to be replacing on a brand new car!!

I had a similar issue on my 1.6 SportKA - 53 Reg.
New steering rack with 3 months - leaking fluid and really noisey.
The dealer/manufacturer gets a few goes to put things right.
You may get some service discounts thrown in for your trouble but highly unlikely (never say never) be able to reject the car.

Its not unusual for things like that to fail get it fixed under warranty, i worked for a Ford dealer we had to replace stuff like that all the time0

you need to give the dealer the chance to rectify the fault, but monitor it closely after it has been repaired....work permit granted!0
