Replacing ASUS power adaptor plug

The plug slides onto pins on the charger - one can't just cut it off. Some of the image links in this thread show a charger for an older model which one could probably just cut off the plug.
The company contact was from ASUS technical support - they're a recommended retailer according to ASUS.Free thinker.:cool:0
