Recession White. The colour you get when you want to look ace driving a brand new car but can't afford the extra tenner a month for upgraded paint work. :p

Me I'm not really bothered about colour, more concerned in condition of car.

    Way over priced imo.

Quick search of sold listings on eBay shows 13/14 plate corsas selling for £3-4.5k.

Buying a Corsa that has just got to the end of the manufacturers warranty for top money as a private sale?

Just not going to happen OP.

Private Sales are cheaper than Dealer prices for a reason.

If a dealer has similiar for a few hundred pounds more but can provide finance and after sales service plus consumer rights they will win every time.

Not many people in the market for a Corsa have the cash, they are going to put down £500/1000 and pay the rest over 3/4/5 years.

If I was buying a Corsa of that age privately I would want it to be £1000 minimum cheaper than a dealer.

You get more comeback buying from Auction, which is likely where the buyers that have the cash are buying.

I've gotten a lot out of a full tank before hundreds of miles. It has saved me a great deal of money.

Thanks for the information. The consumption sounds too good to be true (which is generally the case for official figures) which is why I wondered what you had actually achieved. It seems that you may not have done that calculation, but if you intend to carry on trying for a private sale it may be worth doing as any even vaguely knowledgeable buyer will ask the question.
