4.5m Worktop Suppliers

Can anyone recommend one?
I'm looking for a single piece of laminate worktop that's about 4.5m long (28mm square edged preferable)
But coming up blank... found one place but they wouldn't deliver to scotland!
It's always the same when you're doing your own house... would never design someone a kitchen like this!

I know who does 4m.
Solid surface is good though - invisible joins? You probably have the skills to do it or know someone that can.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Would love to go solid surface, unfortunately the bank aren't so keen!!
It's a straight run of ikea units but I've never seen a successful join in a straight worktop (except for solid surface)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
http://www.worktops.uk.com/browse/Extra_Long_Worktops_UK but only says England on the webbie (may be worth a call).

I don't know or have experience of either, just a google search.
These say 'cut to size' but don't give any idea of the longest https://www.worktopsonline.com
These are 'up to 5m' http://www.dewhirstkitchens.co.uk/worktops0 -
thanks, have tried those ones, unfortunately none of them will deliver to Scotland - and one of them can't deliver a 5300mm worktop at all! so not sure how that works...This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

How odd.
I take it the logistics of you actually collecting is prohibitive? You could investigate 'shiply'. https://www.shiply.com0 -
I think delivery method is the main problem.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

yeah, I have used shiply before - would just prefer for the company that supply it to deliver it - if there's any damage I don't want the shipping costs and replacement costs all on me!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
