be wary of B&Q fading credit notes

just pulled out my 9 months old (3 months till expiry) B&Q credit note from a drawer and it is blank!!! It can just about be read under specific light angle and preferably with a magnifying glass. I shall report on what the staff at the store will say.

Probably came out on receipt or thermal paper it's no uncommon for those to fade.

I had a load of faded receipts last year which made doing my accounts a little tricky. I hadn't thought about credit notes.

It is a known problem at B&Q, and I think it's been resolved. If you can get the barcode number off of it they should be able to use it in store.
