Shower. Electric or Combi Boiler?
Comments
-
Buy the cheapest 10kW electric shower you can find (£70 from Screwfix), just to get the circuit and plumbing in for the shower for free. You don't have to use it, or can change it later if you want.
Just because the council will get an engineer to you same day doesn't mean he'll have the parts to repair the boiler if it breaks down, so it's useful to have a backup.
A proper thermostatic shower off the combi would be better though - but they might not be fitting a thermostatic mixer, just mixer taps and a spray.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Thermostatic mixer (not just mixer taps) off the combi every time. Better shower (more hot water) cheaper to run.0
