Trying to get electoral roll registration on my report

I have recently moved house and have had a mortgage approval for an off plan new build. I moved a few months ago (February) after selling my old flat, now in rental temporarily, but the mortgage application was made when I was at my old address.

I need to have the mortgage offer extended (for the 3rd time, long build delays!) but primarily I need to change my address on there or the application won't be truthful. This has resulted in much chasing and paranoia, my broker thinks it'll be fine even if I don't show on the electoral roll at my current address (rental) but I want to do everything I can to ensure I show as registered against this address.

I have therefore been diligently using credit file services (check my file, also Experian's own and Doddle for Callcredit) to check if the update has shown and sent through the letter to the credit agencies to manually update if possible.

Anyway, it seems to be going 'ok' but today Equifax responded to my query and it seems the address they have now put on my report is almost correct but not quite. The address from my local council confirmation letter, plus Royal Mail shows as :

Flat x Kingfisher Heights
2 street name
London
E16 2GT

Equifax have the address as:

Flat x Kingfisher Heights 2
street name
London
E16 2GT

So the number within the street is on the first line of the address.

Coincidentally, perhaps, the latest report downloaded by check my file shows that my Equifax report isn't matching my address. It could be that they caught it a few days too early before Equifax changed it, but could it also be as I've told check my file the correct address and the very slight difference mean that it doesn't match?

Equifax have said I can download my credit report to see my new address now showing in there. I am sure if I input their exact and slightly incorrect version of the address it will show, but doesn't that mean it's wrong?

Should I get Equifax to identically match the Royal Mail/Electoral letter address? Or is that very minor change not a problem?

Would check my file show me as 'registered had Equifax sent their version of the address through, even though there's a very minor mis match?
