in Credit cards
I see one other post on another topic about being charged extra on Supercard.
I have some extra transactions all showing as
Supercard: IC Cash 01, .
These are each for between 4p and 77p
They are all from Ireland.
I have not been in Ireland recently, especially not with the new supercard.
Am going to contact them, but has anyone else been affected?

Yes, I've been charged extra on transactions in Switzerland.
It seems that Travelex immediately charges 'yesterday''s rate and then calculates 'today''s rate later and charges any adjustment, theoretically a credit if the rate goes the other way.

I am seeing extra charges on my account. For example:
A purchase for 499 Thai baht on 15 April appeared in my Supercard account and on my credit card as a charge of £11.58 a day or two later.
On 23 April a refund of £11.58 appeared on my credit card.
On 3 May a charge of £11.62 appeared on my credit card.
A purchase for 618 Thai baht on 17 April appeared in my Supercard account and on my credit card as a charge of £14.19 a day or two later.
On 24 April a refund of £14.19 appeared on my credit card.
On 28 April a charge of £14.21 appeared on my credit card.
For both these, my Supercard account no longer shows the original sterling charge, nor does it show the refund to my credit card. What it does show is an "Original Purchase" on the actual transaction date for the new sterling amount with an "Extra charge" on the date they charged my credit card for the second time, also for the new sterling amount.
I can't say I've got a lot of confidence in Supercard's ability to run my account properly - early in this trip the card stopped working completely. It turned out they'd lost all details of the linked credit card they were supposed to charge to. Supercard blamed this on a fault with their App.0 -
Monzo do this better. They show the exchange rate at the time of transaction, and a provisional amount in Pounds Sterling with a warning that it may fluctuate slightly as the exchange rate settles once the vendor presents the payment, and a timescale of around two days. It has always been finalised within a day.0

I do have a Supercard but I've never actually used it, having a range of simpler and perhaps more reliable options in my wallet, such as Monzo.Evolution, not revolution0
