Thought it was a good deal however since been told that the lower end of Lenovo's aren't great.
What should I be looking for in terms of spec for under £400 and what's models of Lenovo or other makes are worth considering?
Thanks

you do realise that £400 for a laptop is not "lower end" ? Look at some of the other threads on here, £200-£270 would be considered lower-end, possibly even lower...
That one is an i5 CPU, how powerful a processor do you actually need?......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

What are you going to be using the laptop for?
That would suit most tasks short of gaming and video editing0 -
you should be looking at i5 6200u for £400.

Thanks for your replies.
I was hoping to get something under £400, preferably under the £350 mark.
Fortunately my current laptop a Samsung has lasted 5 years which cost £350 back then and it was considered pretty cheap but I think laptops have come down a lot in price then. The Samsung has been an excellent buy aside from one hiccup and lasted a lot longer than the Dell before it which cost far more. Only getting a new one as it has slowed down an awful lot even with defrag and disk cleanup and getting rid of certain things.
I'd be using it for small business so mainly office based applications and cloud software. No gaming and no video editing. Needs to have good connectivity so a good wifi receiver (can't think of the technical word) as I have heard that some laptops don't always have good connections.0 -

You probably can look at something with 128GB SSD instead of HDD since as you store with cloud.0 -
Cisco, I store files on my NAS drive but it mirrors it on my computer so I do store a fair amount actually on the laptop as well if that makes sense. Means I have the files if I don't have internet access.0
