You're just a troll, like me, apparently.forgotmyname wrote: »Is there news here? Someone selling illegal replica items acts illegally?
You could make it "16 year old illegally uses Paypal account to knowingly buy counterfeit goods on a photo sharing website and gets conned".
I expect my son may do something stupid when he's older, I guess I'll have to pick where to pt the blame.
On a more pertinent point, has anyone reported this 'seller' to Instagram?
Presumably there's a trail of messages/emails so that Instagram could close the account down..0 -
Report to Action Fraud: https://www.cityoflondon.police.uk/advice-and-support/fraud-and-economic-crime/pipcu/Pages/counterfeit-goods.aspx
I thought that it was illegal to purchase fake goods, but this City of London Police link suggests that it's only illegal to try to profit from it.
I once bought a fake watch when I was in Malaysia. A few weeks later it fell apart. It cost me much, much, less than £45.0 -
Ahh but the watch that you dont get for £45 is of a much better quality.
Gotta meet a guy after the pub closes, he is going to sell me a car thats less than 2 years old for £650. Immaculate condition.
Gave hime a shortlist of cars and colours and something will be delivered tonight, although it seems i need to register it as inported to obtain a V5C???
Gotta be legit surely?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
It depends on the fakes. A few years ago I had what was an obvious fake Rolex, someone gave me as a gift (It cost them about £2.50), it lying on my desk coincided with a routine visit from a Trading Standards officer. He was quite an officious chap and tried to get me on anything possible, he examined the watch, knew it was a fake, but it didn't have a brand name on it so he told me it was perfectly legit.Report to Action Fraud: https://www.cityoflondon.police.uk/advice-and-support/fraud-and-economic-crime/pipcu/Pages/counterfeit-goods.aspx

Funny thing about that watch, it lasted for years, I knew someone who had a genuine Rolex that never lasted as long..0
