Will my bank be likely to match the limit of my other credit cards?

I'll just summarise my financial situation first in case it's something that you think could impact a decision. I currently have an HSBC current account with a balance of £0 and available overdraft of £750, an HSBC student account with a balance of £9,000 and available overdraft of £1,000 and an HSBC credit card with a £500 limit. I also have a Barclays Business Account with a balance of effectively £0 (there's some money set aside for tax returns) and a personal Barclaycard with a £5,200 limit. I will be returning to university in September, so my income at that point is likely to be pretty low.
I basically wanted to try and move everything over to HSBC in order to simplify things, but wanted to be able to retain a similar limit to what I already have on my Barclaycard. Do you think HSBC will take the existing limit on the Barclaycard as a benchmark if I ask them to increase my available credit or will they basically not care?

They'll basically not care and apply a rate and limit appropriate to their risk criteria.0
