Also all I have from them is letter in red from the, they said they dont have to show me any documents at all, which can be right??
Off the top of my head the regulations only require them to have an authority to act for the council (whcih should be shown on request) not to have to carry a copy of the liability order.
Any details of how or why the order was granted will be held only by the council.

My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0 -
Only car on my drive is my father in laws, he has all the prove etc as he only bought it 2 weeks ago, nothing to do with me
They cant take that can they?0 -
Council tax lady had told them to hang fire for now while she looks into the case
How can I force the council to take the cases back from Rossendales so I can pay them monthly instead and deal only with the council?
What else can I do today to stop them calling incase the council dont take the cases back?0 -

Cant pay in full, I am a full time carer to my 2 disabled children and live on benefits so cant work im afraid, wish I could
I offered to pay my account, just moved the payment date by 2.5 weeks that they agreed to. I will be up to date with agreed payment plan by 25th this month when they take the next payment
Its not that I dont want to pay, its that I cant, so rather than a few high handed replies, any advice would be appreciated?
I really hope others worlds dont blow up in their faces when their kids get seriously ill, but maybe you would be better able to judge me then?0 -

None of the replies by anyone so far have been anything other than factual.

Disagree
Thanks anyway
Dave two choices here my friend as follows :-
1: Either ignore them completely when they return.
2: Engage in conversation with them via an open window upstairs or behind the closed door and offer a repayment option.
The advice given above has mainly been helpful although not what you wished to hear.0 -
I offered them a repayment option, they wont listed and I want to pay!
If they wont listen then not really much I can do is there, apart from ignore them?0 -

Well done Dave that is the spirit and now you are listening, Upon Bailiff's return simply say hello my Bailiff here is the situation you either accept a repayment plan or go look to collect this via the courts as I am not willing to discuss further with you if you do not agree to this.
Or bury your head in the sand and hope it goes away which it will not do but may buy further time for you in order to save the additional monies owed to them.0
