I think you are being a bit hard on the OP, they are after all an expert in the field of doorstep loans:

I took out a loan from Provident some time ago, i arranged to meet the agent at a friends address who he was due to call on as the agent was busy. I filled in the loan forms with my correct address on them and signed said forms. The agent was aware that my home address was different to the place where i had signed the loan forms.. I,ve been told that all loan applications must be completed at the address on the agreement and because the loan application was not filled out at the address on the application that the loan is unenforceable, is this correct..? i would be grateful of any advise/help.. thank you
Out of curiosity how would you prove that this wasn't signed at your own address if it got to court and it was your word against Provident's?

I'd just buy a new door number and swap it over. Sorted.
  • Caught out lol - Yes i was a shopacheck agent a few years ago, and it wasn't me that took this loan out, it was one of my old shopacheck customers that i bumped into the other day, and he asked me this question, and i dont know what the answer is.. so i thought i would see if anyone here might know.. and as for proving where it was signed for, the person whose house it was at is willing to corroborate this for him..

You should go the whole hog here and sue them to for all the undue stress this has bought to your wellbeing, I would love to help you and am willing to offer the cost of a Solicitor of your choice for a split in the damages awarded, Please pay a start up fee of £150.00 to get this moving at the following website.

Perhaps he could buy the other person's house. Then it would all be ok again.

He could take out a loan if needed, to pay for it.

Ok so lets look at this slightly differently.

Mrs A takes out £500 loan at Mrs B address...however she gives a False address, lets say Mine.

Week later a knuckle dragger comes banging on MY door demanding the repayment Mrs A took out.

I know nothing about it...nor know Mrs A.

    What happends next...
