I have 2, Barclaycard and Halifax Clarity

The Halifax one I rarely use, I originally got it for when I went to Florida in 2010 as it is a good card for using abroad.

The Barclaycard I use just to get cashback. It's technically 2 cards as they sent me a Visa and a Amex for the account (not sure why they sent me 2 cards!)

My Lloyds Bank account comes with two cards; I'd imagine it's for shops/services who don't accept AmEx for payments i.e. B&Q.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

Damn - that must be annoying! How much did that cost you?

I didn't go the whole distance although their 6% BT for 6 months offer came in very handy to tie up loose ends left over from credit rebuilding such as Vanquis. When I closed Aqua my balance was £93.21p. Not actually closed yet because I have to wait until my final statement due around the 23rd of this month.

I have 4 BC's, Tesco, Lloyds, Cahoot, Hx Clarifty, 2 MBNA.

They are used for various things but they work for me and I never pay interest on normal use. The only time I pay any kind of fee is when I use certain ones for stoozing.

    None. No need for them.

The "benefits" others see for using them aren't in my lifestyle at all, so are of no use to me.

I'd rather pay for what I buy and know it's bought and paid for... and won't come back to bite me.

I set my credit card to be paid off in full each month from my bank account, so there's no interest charges and nothing to "come back and bite me"!

    Currently 11:
    Tesco MasterCard
    Nationwide Select
Fluid MBNA - to be closed
    BA Amex
    Etihad Guest
Amex Preferred Rewards Gold (charge card)
    Creation Everyday
    Amex Platinum (credit not charge)
    Lloyds Avios
    Barclaycard Hilton
    Creation IHG Rewards

I never pay any interest on these, they're all there for various rewards or foreign spending benefits (along with the Travelex Supercard).

    I have the following

    Virgin Money
    LLoyds
    HSBC
    Santander 123
    Amex
    AA Credit
    MBNA
    Halifax Clarity

Really should cancel some as have above 70K of available credit.. Most of them have Nil balance.. Guess I am just a bit lazy with cancelling them.

Oh and the above hasn't stopped me from getting credit and not paid interest since I was able to get credit

    :D

But how much unnecessary interest did you pay over that time?

Why is that relevant to the current discussion? Are you attempting a thread hijack by any chance?
