Possibly not the place to ask the question, but here goes anyway. I read recently that the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions is to be questioned about the increase in fraud and overpayment. Any idea when that it happening?0

I can't see how that is trying to bring a Secretary of State down...it's a straight forward curious question.0 -

Hi Tellit,
I can't find anything in parliamentary business that relates to this. Do have any more details?Official Organisation Representative

Sorry I don't. Simply something I read on-line a few days ago (I can't even remember which site it was on) about an increase in fraud level on benefits in the past 12 months or so and the select committee to question the S of S on the subject. It may have been conjecture on the part of the reporter.0 -

Clearly more of a life than you! I post a simple question and you come up with fantasy theories. I've been posting on the site for nearly 2 years but obviously missed the rule which states that I have to get your permission before doing so.0 -

The only thing that it might relate to could be the Public Accounts Committee's session reviewing the progress of the fraud and error stocktake on Wednesday 20 July 2016. This Committee would not talk to the Secretary of State though.Official Organisation Representative

If that's the committee Frank Field is on then that will be it.0
