Help with Concentrix

I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice. A few months ago I received a letter from Concentrix on behalf of HMRC requesting information they required about my tax credit claim. I obliged to this and sent off the relevant paperwork first class. Fast forward today I got another letter from them saying that my tax credits will be amended/stopped due to me not sending the requested information. This genuinely isn't the case though, it was definitely sent, but leaves me in a "my word against theirs" scenario. Any thoughts on how I can go about this.

They must receive thousands and thousands of letters each week so it's not unreasonable if one or two get mislaid.

Did you keep a copy? If not, ask them to reissue whatever form it is and send it back to them as *signed for* mail.
Unless it can be done online..?

Call them and tell them you already sent it in and see what they say.

Was the letter sent to you dated before or after 6th April 2016?

The docs that people send them are kept in one place and they are scanned onto the computer. They are then looked at somewhere else, and returned to you. The key thing to remember is to send EVERYTHING by recorded delivery so they can't claim that they haven't received it. If there's a backlog they may not have scanned it yet, so it's showing as not received on their system. Have you called them to say that you've already sent it? It may be a good idea to send it all again, but by recorded delivery. It may be a good idea to make a complaint because they've lost your confidential information while you're at it.

I sent mine off recorded and got them sent back saying received and logged.
  • I sent mine off on June 21st recorded delivery. I called them today and they have still not been scanned on their system.
I would call them, the excuse I got was that because all the letters went out at once they received a larger number of replies and that is why they have a backlog of documents to scan. I find this a bit strange though as my letter says they have evidence that suggests someone is living with me. Does this mean they wait until they have evidence for so many people in the same situation before sending out the letters in bulk?
Their letter to me said that they would return my documents, I find it unacceptable for them to hold on to them for nearly a month. I will be putting in an official complaint next week if they are not returned beforehand. I am worried about my documents.
