Hi. I have just read some old posts about First Direct not giving consent to let properties and I wondered if this was still the case.
I have a fixed rate mortgage and have just accepted a job abroad, initially for a year. I can only do this if my mortgage is covered through rental income and therefore need to rent out my house. What if first Direct say 'no' - what are my options? I am meant to be leaving in 6 weeks....
